Art, Sculpture, Installation
My sculptures have always used and referenced found materials. I collage together images and objects of colloquial origin to imply or hint toward a different reality….a new purpose/repurpose. Ladders, chairs, scrap steel and electrical cords combine into structures of unknown origin. The sculptures presented for this exhibit are made from and about cast-off materials, the detritus, and remnants of industrial production. They represent artifacts of the world we inhabit and as such, the vernacular of our times.
